Downtown Snoqualmie is filled with activity on Saturday as the community marks the 87th annual Snoqualmie Days, a tradition dating back to 1939.
Formerly known as Snoqualmie Railroad Days, the festival celebrates the history, people and culture of Snoqualmie. The event originally began to commemorate the arrival of the town’s first fire truck.
Saturday’s lineup includes:
- Firefighters Pancake Breakfast, 7 to 11 a.m.
- Grand Parade, 11 a.m.
- Live music
- Food
- Local vendors
- Living history activities
- Train rides
- Shopping in Historic Downtown Snoqualmie
Live music continues throughout the afternoon and evening at several downtown locations:
- 3:30 to 5 pm – Jimmy James and the Sure Things at The Bindlestick
- 5 to 6 pm – Caveman Dave at Buckshot Honey
- 6 to 7 pm – Mountain Ear at The Black Dog
- 7:10 to 8:10 pm – Izzy Burns at Snoqualmie Brewery
- 8:20 to 9:50 pm – Steel Beans at The Bindlestick
- 10 p.m. to midnight – Eldridge Gravy & the Court Supreme at The Eagles Club
Railroad Avenue/SR 202, from SE Fir Street to SE Newton Street, will be closed Saturday, August 22, from approximately 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to accommodate the festivities. Detour signs will be posted, so drivers should plan their routes accordingly.
Snoqualmie Days remains one of the Valley’s longstanding summer traditions, bringing the community together each year in Historic Downtown Snoqualmie.
