The right lane of eastbound SR 18 will close nightly from 9 pm to 5 am for four nights between Thursday, Sept. 10, and Monday, Sept. 14, near Tiger Mountain Summit.
One eastbound lane will remain open each night. There will be no lane restriction on Saturday night, Sept. 12.
This work is for surveying for the SR 18, Issaquah Hobart Rd to Deep Creek Vicinity – Widening & Fiber project.
Travelers should expect delays and allow extra travel time during the nightly lane reductions. Issaquah-Hobart Road and Issaquah city streets are not suitable for freight traffic and semi-trucks and should not be used as a truck detour. Freight traffic should use westbound SR 169 to northbound I-405 and then use northbound I-405 to eastbound I-90, or other suitable alternate state routes.
Additional closures planned
Similar single-lane, nightly closures in the westbound direction will occur for six nights beginning Tuesday, Sept. 15. A full eastbound SR 18 closure will occur nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for six nights beginning Wednesday, Sept. 23.
