The Snoqualmie Indian Tribe has purchased 287 acres of forestland in the Tokul area for $1.75 million, according to documents recorded with King County on November 4, 2026.
The property, identified as Parcel C of the Twin Peaks Forest timberland portfolio, was sold by Twin Peaks Timber, LLC. The transaction was completed through a Bargain and Sale Deed effective October 30, 2026.
The 287-acre parcel was part of a larger 4,833-acre timberland portfolio offered for sale in 2026 through Realty Marketing/Northwest. The property was divided into four parcels ranging in size from 287 to 3,745 acres.
According to the real estate excise tax affidavit, the purchase price was $1,750,000.
Campbell Global, which manages recreational permits for the Tokul area, announced that a few parcels were removed from its recreational permit area effective October 30, 2026, citing the land sale process. The company directed permit holders to updated property maps identifying the excluded areas.
The deed also references an existing conservation easement among the permitted exceptions associated with the property transfer.
