Snoqualmie Fire Department Hosts Covid-19 Vaccination Clinic

The FDA recently authorized second booster shots of Pfizer and Moderna Covid-19 vaccines for everyone 50 and older and those 12 and older who have certain kinds of immunocompromised conditions.

To assist community members in receiving this latest approved booster, as well as those wanting or needing additional Covid-19 vaccinations, the Snoqualmie Fire Department will host a vaccination clinic at the Snoqualmie Fire Station, 37600 SE Snoqualmie Parkway, on Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm. 

All types of COVID-19 vaccines will be available at the clinic: Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson for all age groups five years old and older. 

Registration is necessary to receive a vaccination. Register and schedule an appointment time at: https://prepmod.doh.wa.gov/appointment/en/reg/2699420109 

Registered clinic participants should arrive at the fire station at the time of their scheduled vaccine and maintain social distance while waiting.  

What to bring?-Existing Covid-19 CDC vaccination card unless this is your first dose. 

Covid-19 Vaccine Recommendations – First, Second, and Booster Shots

  • Pfizer: 5-11 years of age – 2nd dose 21 days after the 1st shot.
  • Pfizer: 12 years of age and older – 2nd dose 21 days after the 1st; booster five months after 2nd shot; 2nd booster four months after the 1st booster for those 50 years of age and older.
  • Moderna: 18 years of age and older – second dose 28 days after the first; booster five months after second shot; 2nd booster four months after 1st booster for those 50 years of age and older.
  • Johnson and Johnson: 18 years of age and older – single-shot; CDC highly recommends an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) booster shot 60 days after the first J&J shot and mRNA booster for those 50 years of age and older, four months after 1st booster. 

[Those five years and older and who have an immunocompromised condition can ask about a special 3rd shot qualification 28 days after their 2nd shot, as well as two booster shots, spaced closer together.]
