Reclaim’s Fundwarming Event: A Community’s Journey to Hope and Stability

On Saturday, June 29, Reclaim will host its highly anticipated Fundwarming Event, inviting the community to explore its new facility and support its vital programs.

The event, taking place from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM PDT at 8224 Railroad Avenue, Snoqualmie, WA, aims to raise $50,000 towards Reclaim’s mission of offering shelter, support, and hope to those seeking stability and opportunity.

A Day of Celebration and Support

The event features a detailed agenda designed to engage and inform attendees about Reclaim’s impactful work. The day begins with the first facilities tour at 1:00 PM, with subsequent tours at 2:30 PM, 4:00 PM, and 5:30 PM.

Each tour offers a self-guided walkthrough of the new Front Door Community Service Center, showcasing the Threads of Kindness clothing boutique, the Shelter to Home Program facilities, and the Severe Weather Shelter.

Visitors will get a firsthand look at where Reclaim’s dedicated staff works tirelessly to create paths to stability for many in the community. While the tours themselves are identical, multiple time slots ensure that the space remains comfortably accessible for all guests.

Creating Art and Memories

From 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, attendees can participate in the Inspiration Words Art Project, led by esteemed volunteer Margie Vinnege. This collaborative art project invites everyone to contribute a word of inspiration, creating a beautiful piece that will adorn the new facility. It’s a chance for the community to leave a lasting, positive mark on Reclaim’s new home.

Refreshments and Accessibility

Tickets, priced at $15.00, include hearty appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages. Additionally, a no-host bar offering beer and wine will be available, with proceeds benefiting Reclaim’s General Fund. Guests are encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes before their scheduled tour time.

While the first floor is fully accessible, the second floor currently remains accessible only by stairs. Reclaim is actively raising funds to install an elevator to ensure full accessibility in the future.
