November 27, 2023

An officer was on routine patrol when a suspicious vehicle was observed. The officer checked the license plate, which showed the registered owner had a suspended license. The officer conducted a traffic stop and contacted the driver, who stated he had neither a driver’s license nor insurance. He was cited for Driving Without a License and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance.  

November 27, 2023

An officer was on a routine patrol when he observed a suspicious vehicle stopped near Snoqualmie Point Park with two occupants slumped over. As the officer approached, he noticed the driver had a pen and a check in his hand. The officer knocked on the driver’s window and made contact.

The driver handed the officer two checks, stating that they belonged to his parents but that his parents did not know he had them. The officer suspected attempted forgery and took the checks. The officer contacted the parents later, who stated that they wished to press charges. The subject was subsequently charged with Possession of Stolen Property and Attempted Forgery.

November 29, 2023

Officers responded to a burglary call at Twin Peaks Nutrition in North Bend. Officers contacted the reporting party and secured the building. Officers noticed a door that was damaged, as well as a windowpane that was removed to access an office room. A cash register and miscellaneous items were taken and valued at roughly $4000. Officers requested and received support from the King County Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS). The AFIS Processing Technician arrived on scene and processed the scene for fingerprints. This investigation is still ongoing.

November 29, 2023

Dispatch alerted officers to a welfare check involving a female subject who was observed slumped over on a bench outside a North Bend gas station with possible drug paraphernalia. Officers found the female subject slumped over with drug paraphernalia near her hand. An officer spoke with the female, who admitted to using fentanyl. Snoqualmie Fire was called to do a precautionary medical evaluation. The subject refused additional medical checks and was subsequently charged with knowingly Using a Controlled Substance While in a Public Space and released with a court date.

December 1, 2023

An officer was conducting an area check at Snoqualmie Point Park when a vehicle without license plates was observed. As the officer drove by, a male subject exited the vehicle and entered the wood line. The officer approached the vehicle and contacted a female subject in the passenger seat. Officers checked the VIN, which returned as a stolen vehicle from Federal Way and detained the passenger. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle while requesting additional assistance to locate the male suspect, who walked off.

Although officers could not locate the suspect, they found a wallet belonging to the suspect with identification in it.   The female was charged with Vehicle Trespass and booked into Issaquah City Jail. Charges were also forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for the male suspect. The stolen vehicle was towed, and arrangements were made to return the vehicle to the registered owner.

December 1, 2023

Officers were on routine patrol at the North Bend Premium Outlets when a suspicious female on a bench was observed. The female subject gave the officer her name and walked toward a fence while the officer had dispatch check the name. Dispatch advised the officer that the female subject had a warrant out of Seattle for assault. Once backup arrived, the female subject hopped over the fence and ran. Officers initiated a foot pursuit and were able to locate the female hiding by a large tree. Officers arrested the subject and booked her into King County Jail for her warrant.  

December 1, 2023

An officer was on a routine patrol near Torguson Park in North Bend when a vehicle without a front license plate was observed. The officer allowed the vehicle to pass and checked the rear license plate, showing that the registered owner had a suspended license and multiple unresolved citations. The officer conducted a traffic stop and cited the driver for Driving With a Suspended License.

December 1, 2023

An officer was on patrol at the North Bend Premium Outlets when a suspicious vehicle was observed. The officer checked the license plate, which showed that the registered owner had a warrant out of Renton for Malicious Mischief. When a male subject returned to the vehicle, officers confirmed the subject’s identity, transported him, and booked him into the South Correctional Entity.

December 3, 2023

Dispatch alerted officers to a theft report at Herfy’s Burgers in Snoqualmie. Officers responded and contacted the reporting party, stating that a male suspect walked in and asked to pay using the point-of-pay system. The suspect then refunded himself $390 and fled the establishment. Officers got a description of the fleeing vehicle and attempted to locate it but were unable. They are still working to identify the suspect.  

December 3, 2023

Officers were dispatched to a vehicle prowl report at Panorama Apartments in Snoqualmie. Officers contacted the female reporting party, who reported seeing a male subject she did not recognize attempting to wedge a vehicle’s hood open with a tool. The subject noticed the reporting party and followed her. The reporting party confronted the subject, who stated that he lived there before he left. Officers patrolled the area and found the vehicle but could not locate the male subject. Officers are still working to identify the male subject.
