Multiple Gun Shots Fired Near Downtown Snoqualmie

Shortly after 11PM last night, Wednesday, November 14, Snoqualmie police officers responded to numerous 911 calls reporting gun shots.

Snoqualmie officers arrived on scene and immediately heard additional shots being fired in the 8500 block of Falls Ave SE. The King County Sheriff’s Office assisted with blocking off streets and worked with Snoqualmie officers to determine the origin of the shooting.

Officers discovered a 61 year-old Snoqualmie resident in her driveway with a handgun. After several attempts to gain her compliance, she dropped the handgun, was taken into custody and later booked into the King County Jail on several charges.

Her residence is secured and a search warrant has been requested. There were no injuries as a result of this shooting.

What caused the woman to begin firing the gun is unknown.
