In an era when nearly 70% of small retail businesses close within eight years, local metalsmith & jeweler Erika Laureano is celebrating a major milestone.
To honor the loyal community that has supported her studio since it opened, Laureano is inviting new and longtime clients to reserve private shopping slots throughout the evening. The intimate format gives attendees a dedicated, personal space to browse new collections, toast the milestone, and celebrate the relationships that built the brand.
Custom design has become a significant part of Laureano’s business. She completed just one custom piece her first year; this year alone, she has designed and handcrafted nearly 50 in collaboration with clients across the Snoqualmie Valley.
“When I started eight years ago, I never could have imagined how deeply connected I would become to the people in this community,” said Erika Laureano, owner and designer. “My greatest reward comes when clients trust me with their most precious family heirlooms—whether it’s redesigning a grandmother’s ring into a modern statement piece, repairing an inherited treasure, or helping someone find the perfect gift for a major milestone. My customers have truly become close friends, and without their ongoing support, none of this would be possible.“
