On Sunday, April 14th, 2024, at 5:07 am, crews from the Snoqualmie Fire Department and Emergency Management, Eastside Fire & Rescue, Redmond WA Fire, Bellevue (WA) Fire Department, and Fall City Fire Department responded to a fire in Downtown Snoqualmie reported by Snoqualmie Police Department Ofc. Corey Hendricks, who smelled smoke while on routine patrol in the downtown area and searched for the source.
Railroad and Falls Avenue will be closed for an extended period while crews continue to work the fire.
The building housed a Chickadee Bake Shop, Littlest Wishes photo studio, and Snoqualmie Ice Cream.
Initial reports have confirmed that it was unoccupied at the time of the incident. The building is a total loss, and the incident is under investigation.
Chickadee Bake Shop and Snoqualmie Ice Cream will be closed until further notice, but all their products are sold at Friends & Co. Ice Cream in North Bend. You can help support these businesses by shopping there today
