Chilly mornings and changing leaves signal one thing in the Snoqualmie Valley. The Northwest Railway Museum is ready to shift into festive gear, rolling out a full lineup of seasonal train experiences for families, history fans, and holiday enthusiasts.
The winter season begins on October 31 with a steam-powered Snoqualmie Valley Wine Train, followed by family-friendly steam train excursions on November 1 and 2. After the opening weekend, regular rides will continue for three Saturdays only on November 8, 15, and 22, marking the final chance to enjoy standard excursions before the focus turns to holiday magic.
Beginning November 29, the popular Santa Trains make their return. Visitors will step into holiday cheer at the Railway History Campus, explore the decorated halls, and visit Santa in restored Chapel Car 5. It is a tradition that blends historic rail travel with festive memories and wide-eyed wonder.
