[Guest Post by North Bend resident Mark Davis]
A low-pressure system approaching Washington’s coastline on Monday will produce some winds for all of Western Washington. Where it makes landfall is uncertain at this point. A switch from North to South could significantly change our wind gusts.
We currently have a Wind Advisory in effect from Monday at 1 p.m. to Tuesday at 7 a.m. The NWS out of Seattle is showing gusts, possibly up to 50mph.
Below are two different models supporting gusts of 50mph.

These winds will be from the south. The models tend to overstate the wind gusts coming from this direction.
The peak of the winds should start to calm down by early Tuesday morning.
As always, with any wind event we get out here, be prepared for scattered power outages.
