Just a quick FYI for local travelers from the Washington State DOT website:
“The two right lanes of westbound I-90 at SR 18 are open. The left lane is closed around-the-clock until 11:59PM Thursday, June 14th when all lanes will close and westbound traffic will be detoured off I-90 and back on using the SR 18 ramps. On Friday, June 15th at 5AM all westbound I-90 lanes will reopen.”
DOT crews are finishing up a re-paving project on the stretch of westbound I-90 that travels over the Highway 18 interchange. Travelers should be prepared for some extra traffic on the Highway 18 exits off of I-90 late tonight and very early tomorrow morning. Looks like after this, though, traffic will be back to normal through the area.
