Weekend Happenings | North Bend Block Party, Tour de Peaks, Thomas the Tank Engine

It’s another busy weekend in the upper Snoqualmie Valley, with some big events that will close some local streets and maybe cause a little traffic congestion as visitors (and locals) descend on our beautiful area.

North Bend Block Party & Legends Car Show

The popular party returns to the streets of downtown North Bend as the city holds its 7th Annual Downtown Block Party on Saturday, July 18th from Noon to 11PM and the Legends Car Show (new this year) on Sunday, July 19th from 8AM to 4PM. There’s lots of music, food, neighbors and fun activities on tap for the well-attended event.

To accommodate the events the following streets will be closed from approximately 5AM Saturday, July 18th to 6PM Sunday, July 19th:

• North Bend Way between Bendigo Boulevard and Ballarat Avenue
• Main Avenue South between North Bend Way and McClellan Street
• Main Avenue North between North Bend Way and Second Street

In addition to the above street closures, the following street will be closed on Sunday, July 19th from 12AM to 6PM:

• Second Street from Bendigo Boulevard to Ballarat Avenue
