Construction resumes Monday, Aug 4, on a fish barrier removal project along SR 203 near Carnation that will require weekday single-lane closures for roughly eight weeks.
Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will reduce SR 203 to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday near 324th Way Northeast. Flaggers will alternate traffic through the work zone.
Crews finished construction in February on a new SR 203 bridge across an unnamed tributary to the Snoqualmie River. Over the next eight weeks, they will upgrade utilities, remove the existing culvert and improve habitat within the stream bed.
