According to the Washington State Patrol, on Wednesday, October 25th, at 10:26 pm, a car driven by a 53-year-old male from the Snoqualmie area hit a car head-on occupied by two Carnation residents.
The causing vehicle, a 2019 Buick Envision, was traveling eastbound on SR202 just east of 372nd when it crossed over the center line into the westbound lanes, striking the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer driven by a 76-year-old female from Carnation head-on.
The Buick came to rest, blocking the westbound lanes, and the Chevy blocked both east and westbound lanes. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts.
All three involved parties were transported to area hospitals. The driver of the Buick faces possible charges of DUI and Vehicular Assault. The roadway was blocked for approximately an hour.
