Volunteers Needed for Love Snoqualmie Valley Clean-Up at Carnation’s Valley Memorial Park, October 4

Love Snoqualmie Valley Volunteer Day is coming to Carnation on Saturday, October 4. The event begins at 9 a.m. at Valley Memorial Park, located at 31999 E Blanche Street, and welcomes community members to join in a morning of clean-up.

Valley Memorial Park covers seven acres and features a skate bowl, playground, tennis and basketball courts, and a dog park. While the City of Carnation’s small public works crew works hard to maintain these areas, extra hands will make a big difference.

Volunteers will help wash benches, pick up branches, paint over graffiti, fill holes in the dog park, and clean around the tennis and basketball courts. Even an hour of time will help brighten and improve the park.

The project will be led by Rhonda Ender. Participants are asked to come prepared for outdoor work and possible painting. Closed-toe shoes are required, and weather-appropriate clothing is recommended. Volunteers should also bring gardening or work gloves, along with a water bottle.

Those interested in helping out can. Click HERE to sign up. This volunteer effort offers a chance to support Carnation’s parks while making a visible impact in a space that serves as a hub for recreation, play, and community connection.
