Volunteer Opportunities Available in Snoqualmie City Commissions

Do you want to make a difference in your community? The City of Snoqualmie is looking for volunteers to join various commissions.

Here are the opportunities available:

Arts Commission: This position helps develop and support public art programs, advises on art installations, and contributes to events like the Plein Air Paint Out. Two four-year positions are available.

The commission consists of seven members who must reside within the City.  Two open positions exist, and commission members serve four-year terms. Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 5:30 pm.

Economic Development Commission: This commission identifies economic opportunities, supports local businesses, and promotes a vibrant tourism economy.

There is one open position. The commission consists of seven members who must reside in the City or own/operate a business in the Snoqualmie business community. Commission members serve two-year terms. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 8 am. 

Parks & Events Commission: This commission advises on city parks, recreational facilities, and programs. Two positions are open for four-year terms. The commission comprises five members who must reside within the City.  Meetings are held monthly on the third Monday at 7 pm.

Salary Commission: This commission reviews and adjusts the salaries of elected officials (Mayor and City Councilmembers). One position is open for a three-month term. Meetings are held as needed.
