Transformation Complete: Lorenzo’s Pizza and More finds its groove in Snoqualmie

For longtime Snoqualmie Ridge residents, Uncle Si’s was one of the first restaurants in the master planned community. In its decade or so of existence, the small pizza joint has had multiple owners, but it appears the last ownership change may have done the trick.

Snoqualmie residents Larry and Terri Carr purchased the restaurant earlier this year and have slowly been changing things – capped off by one of the most visible changes that recently happened: the Uncle Si’s sign finally came down, replaced by Lorenzo’s.

According to social media posts, Larry is following his passion to make great, authentic food. The flour is is from Parma, Italy and the San Marzano tomatoes come from Naples. Larry started testing recipes, with one of the biggest hits being the massive meatball sub. If you follow their Facebook page, you may have a leg up on the newest creations.

The interior has a new feel. Walls were painted. Lighting was changed. Booths were added, along with comfortable chairs for those waiting for orders or maybe just having a glass of wine. The service is friendly and the place is usually busy.

And just for summer, the outdoor seating area also got an upgrade with lounge furniture and the ability to serve beer and wine outside.

The transformation was a slow process – a learning curve, but seems to be paying off. Larry said six months ago that he bought the restaurant to simply make good food for friends. We’ve been in quite a few times, and you can tell he takes that seriously. There hasn’t been a time when he hasn’t come to the table to see how you liked it – whether he personally knows you or not.

Even though the new menu is official, you never know what might be written on the Specials Board… think homemade ravioli, braised beef shanks, lasagna or whatever else Larry feels like whipping up. And get this – Lorenzo’s also now serves hamburgers, with a special meat blend that is ground in house with brisket, chuck and sirloin.

You can see the full menu HERE. They also still deliver for those who feel like staying in. You can call in an order or place it online.

Lorenzo’s is located at 7729 Center Blvd SE. The phone number is (425) 292-9994.

Good Luck, Larry and Terri!
