Trail Youth Coffee Home back open for to-go, mobile orders AND fundraising for new coffee trailer to serve community

It’s time to start making those coffee drinks again!

Starting Tuesday May 5th, the Trail Youth Coffee Home in North Bend reopened for to-go and mobile orders. The small nonprofit coffee house had been closed due to COVID-19.

Program Director Tonya Guinn said, “During this time of isolation it is more imperative that not only teens, but the whole community, experience the love, value and direct support that Trail Youth offers.”

Patrons can once again purchase their favorite drinks and also buy a bag of Trail Youth’s fresh roasted coffee, which is – if you didn’t already know – actually roasted by the kids served by Trail Youth.

Trail Youth Coffee House hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10AM – 3PM. Walk up orders are accepted or you can order ahead on website: trailyouth.com.

The Trail Youth concept is really simple – its sells coffee to the public in the morning, and those sales fund the organization’s FREE teen programs offered in the afternoon.

Trail Youth’s mission is to remove labels and restore value to all youth. It offers barista training, mentorship and leadership connections to youth ages 13-19. Over the past year the organization and its devoted founders have provided an invaluable service for many local teens.

And now… to take that mission outside the coffee house walls and reach even more people, Trail Youth has been busy fundraising to purchase a new coffee trailer. They’re more than halfway to their $10,000 goal.

The purchase of a trailer will allow Trail Youth to deliver support items like meals, coffee drinks and other supplies to teens, neighbors and essential workers.

Anyone interested in donating toward the new trailer can do so on the Trail Youth website.

Good Luck, Trail Youth!
