Si View Metro Parks is working on completing improvements to the entrance to Tollgate Farm. The final step of the work is to pave the re-aligned entrance from SR-202 in North Bend.
This work requires the closure of one lane of SR-202/Bendigo Boulevard North. Traffic control will be in place, and work will be managed by the project’s general contractor, CDK Construction.
Paving is scheduled for Tuesday, October 25th, starting at 7:00 am. This work is expected to last 4 to 5 hours.
The Tollgate Farmstead project includes the construction of a barn, infrastructure to support farming, and improvements to public access to the Farmhouse area with an entry/exit point and a small parking area.
Tollgate Park site is uniquely suited to connect the community with food through farm-based experimental learning opportunities, including vegetable farming and growing small livestock, u-pick opportunities for the public, youth programs and camps, workshops for adults and operating a farm stand.
