It seems there always has to be a glitch in the forecast when it comes to sunny days around the Pacific Northwest. The beautiful sunny, Snoqualmie Valley day is now littered with loud claps of thunderstorms across the area. It can be sunny one minute and black skies the next.
Here is the short-term forecast from the National Weather Service:
“SHOWERS HAVE DEVELOPED OVER THE WEST SLOPES OF THE CASCADES AND ARE MOVING TO THE SOUTH SOUTHWEST INTO THE FOOTHILLS AND EAST PUGET SOUND LOWLANDS. THESE SHOWER MAY CONTAIN BRIEF DOWNPOURS…GUSTY WINDS AND A FEW CLAPS OF THUNDER. SMALL HAIL HAS ALREADY BEEN REPORTED AT NORTH BEND IN ONE OF THESE STORMS.”
Stay dry and plug the dogs’ ears…
