Are you looking for an opportunity to declutter old papers and documents? The City of North Bend and Sno Falls Credit Union have got you covered with their upcoming free community Shred-It events.

City of North Bend’s Free Shred-It Event:

As fall approaches, residents of North Bend have a golden opportunity to dispose of their old documents securely.

The City of North Bend has announced a free community Shred-It event on Saturday, September 30. From 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., residents can bring their unwanted papers to the North Bend City Hall for a safe and efficient shredding process. The event is open to all North Bend residents.

Participants can bring up to two file boxes or three grocery bags of documents. To ensure the smooth operation of the shredding machines, attendees are urged not to bring stiff metals, plastic bags, or DVDs. The City Hall is located at 920 SE Cedar Falls Way.

Sno Falls Credit Union Community Shred Events:

Sno Falls Credit Union is also doing its part to help the community declutter. They have planned three community shred events in 2023:

Snoqualmie Ridge Branch – April 22, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Carnation Market – July 22, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

North Bend Branch – September 23, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The credit union encourages residents to be considerate and avoid bringing more than five banker boxes to ensure that as many community members as possible can benefit from this service.

Discarding old documents to protect against potential identity theft is crucial. With these upcoming events, residents of North Bend and surrounding areas can do just that, ensuring that their old paperwork is securely destroyed.
