Temporary Water Shutoff Scheduled for November 17 During Fire Hydrant Replacement

City crews will replace a damaged fire hydrant at the corner of Orchard Drive SE and Meadow Drive on Sunday, November 17.

To complete this work, a water main shutoff will be necessary from approximately 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for residents along Healy Avenue S, Stow Avenue S, and Orchard Drive SE.

Affected residents received printed notices about the upcoming work left on their doorknobs.

In addition to the water shutoff, drivers should plan for a road closure on Orchard Drive SE between Riverside Drive SE and Meadow Drive SE. This closure, lasting from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., will provide a safe workspace for crews.

Crews are currently preparing the site to ensure the project proceeds smoothly.
