The Northwest Railway Museum is offering a one-of-a-kind way to enjoy summer in the Snoqualmie Valley with its popular Wine Train excursions and Ride the Rails experiences this August.
On August 8 and 28, guests aged 21 and over can climb aboard the Wine Train for an evening of local flavors and unforgettable views. Tickets are $99 and include a souvenir wine glass and eight tokens for 1-ounce tasting pours from Snoqualmie Valley wineries.
The 2.5- to 3-hour event includes wine tastings at both the Snoqualmie Depot and the Train Shed Exhibit Hall. Check-in and the first pour begin at 5:00 p.m. The August 8 Wine Train will feature Alveare Winery.

For those looking for a family-friendly adventure, Ride the Rails returns August 2 and 3. This 2-hour roundtrip excursion begins in North Bend and takes passengers through scenic upper Snoqualmie Valley aboard historic passenger cars, concluding at the Snoqualmie Depot.
Tickets are $28 for adults (13–61), $24 for seniors (62+), and $14 for children (2–12). If North Bend tickets are sold out, visitors can opt to begin their ride at the Snoqualmie Depot instead.

And don’t forget—Day Out with Thomas: The Party Tour continues this month at the Northwest Railway Museum. Tickets are still available for Friday, July 25. The party rolls on, rain or shine.
Whether you’re sipping wine or riding the rails, the Northwest Railway Museum has something for everyone this summer.
