Streets alive with Music: North Bend Blues Walk takes over downtown this weekend

If you see lots of people wandering the streets of North Bend (yes, even with the construction) – and hear music coming from local businesses, that means it’s time for an annual and popular tradition: North Bend Blues Walk.

Back for its 5th year, the Blues Walk happens Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 6pm-Midnight, featuring fifteen unique venues in historic Downtown North Bend, Washington.

The highly anticipated music festival – with Mount Si as the backdrop – will host some of the finest blues talent in the Pacific Northwest, including Red House, Blues Redemption, Septimus, The Tonic, Mia Vermillion, Stacy Jones Band, Nick Vigarino, Annie O’Neill, John Stephan Band, Mary Ellen Lykins and the CC Adams Band, Elnah Jordan, CD Woodbury, James Bernhard, Brian Lee and the Orbiters, Two Scoops Combo, Ross Robinson, Brian Butler, Eric Madis, Dean Reichert.

Fifteen venues in downtown North Bend will play host to an evening celebrating the blues: JazzClubsNW, North Bend Theatre, Twede’s Café, Valley Center Stage, Pioneer Coffee, Snoqualmie Valley Moose Lodge, Birches Habitat, Georgia’s Bakery, Chaplin’s, Chang Thai, Euro Lounge Café, Pro Ski & Mountain Service, Wildflower Wine Shop, Compass Outdoor Adventures and Umpqua Bank.

All venues are family friendly and all ages. One ticket allows access to all shows and venues. Ticket holders can walk from venue to venue and enjoy incredible blues talent from around the region.

Advance tickets are available online at www.northbendblueswalk.com and offer the best value: Adult tickets are $25; youth tickets (under 15) are $12.50. (Prices increase to $30/$20 at the door).

All proceeds benefit local music education, live performance and scholarships. Each year, the North Bend Blues Walk is supported by JazzClubsNW, a member-supported, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting live music performance and education in many communities.
