Step Up to the Plate: Help Mount Si Baseball Fill the Stands at T-Mobile Park

For the 12th straight year, Mount Si Baseball players will take the field at T-Mobile Park, home of the Seattle Mariners—an opportunity that has become a defining moment for many in the program.

Senior Tucker Koval remembers just how special it felt to be there last season. “Playing at T-Mobile Park was an unreal experience, with every moment on the field feeling like a dream come true,” he said. “To both win and have the opportunity to play on such a legendary stage was an achievement I’ll never forget.”

But before this year’s team can create their memories, they need the community’s help. The Mount Si High School Baseball Booster Club must pre-purchase a block of 1,000 Mariners tickets for the Saturday, March 29 game—part of the team’s opening weekend. If ticket sales fall short, the Booster Club is responsible for the cost, which impacts funding for coaching stipends, uniforms, and other program essentials.

For players, stepping onto the field at T-Mobile Park is more than just a thrill—it reminds them how far they’ve come. “The T-Mobile game is special because all my life, I’ve seen Major Leaguers play at the field, but being there and playing made me realize that even though we’re at very different levels of play, the field is still the same size as at MSHS,” said senior Will Gregory.

The event also offers fans a great deal on tickets while supporting Mount Si Baseball. Through the Booster Club, Level 100 seats are available for $40 and Level 300 tickets for $20—up to 50% lower than Ticketmaster. Plus, the first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a Mariners “Hello Kitty” bucket hat as part of the promotion.

For seniors like Taylor Davis, who grew up watching his favorite players take the field at T-Mobile, the experience carries extra meaning. “Playing at T-Mobile is an opportunity that will never be forgotten,” he said. “All the times growing up watching my favorite players play on the same exact field that I get to play on—it’s such a privilege that cannot be taken for granted.”

The easiest way to support Mount Si Baseball is by purchasing tickets at mountsibaseball.com/mariners-tickets. Fans can also help by following and resharing Mount Si Baseball’s posts on Facebook (@MountSiBaseball) and Instagram (@MountSiBaseball).

Varsity Head Coach Karl Myers has seen how much the event means to his players. “We have an incredible facility at Mount Si, but there’s just something unique and special about playing in a big-league park,” he said. “It’s universally thought of as one of the highlights of all their careers and is something we are so grateful to be able to do every year thanks to the support of our Booster Club and the greater baseball community in the Valley.”

With community support, Mount Si players will once again take the field at T-Mobile Park, stepping into a moment that many will remember as one of the most special in their baseball careers.
