State Route 203 was closed for three hours and 44 minutes in both directions south of Northeast 124th Street in Duvall early Wednesday morning due to a major collision.
Shortly after midnight, a black 2005 Honda motorcycle was traveling southbound on SR203, lost control for an unknown reason and struck the guardrail. The rider of the motorcycle was ejected into the guardrail.

Unfortunately, the rider died shortly after the aid arrived. The 48-year-old man was from Woodinville and wearing a USDOT-compliant helmet.
The roadway was re-opened shortly after 4 am.
