SR 18 Survey Work Will Bring Six Nights of Eastbound Closures

All lanes of eastbound State Route 18 from Issaquah-Hobart Road Southeast (milepost 20) to Deep Creek (milepost 26) will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for six nights between Monday, Sept. 21, and Tuesday, Sept. 29. Closures are not scheduled from Friday, Sept. 25, to Sunday, Sept. 27.

This work is for surveying for the SR 18, Issaquah Hobart Rd to Deep Creek Vicinity – Widening & Fiber project.

Travelers should expect delays, allow extra travel time and seek alternate routes during the nightly closures. Issaquah-Hobart Road and Issaquah city streets are not suitable for freight traffic and semi-trucks and should not be used as a detour for trucks. Freight traffic should use westbound SR 169 to northbound I-405 and then use northbound I-405 to eastbound I-90, or other suitable alternate state routes.
