SR 18 Full Closure at I-90 Interchange Postponed Until July at Earliest

Drivers who saw signs announcing a June 11 closure at the I-90/SR 18 interchange can disregard that information.

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, the planned full closure of SR 18 beneath Interstate 90 has been postponed. The closure originally scheduled for June 4 through June 8 was canceled due to an unfavorable weather forecast.

WSDOT now says there will be no extended full closures of SR 18 until after the World Cup moratorium. As of now, the SR 18 diverging diamond interchange full closure has been postponed until July 9 through July 13 at the earliest.

Mount Si High School has also received the updated schedule, as many families and guests will be traveling through the area for graduation events.
