Comments
This is so old. Close it to truck traffic. Until it can be fixed. That is the clear solution.
Where would you like truck traffic to go? How do you know it was the semi’s fault? Trucks hauling goods to our local stores would be screwed.
No its been passed four times to do the upgrades on hwy 18 but our Jay Inslee state finds a way to spend that money on other transportation projects not 18 only close to Seattle just ask Dorey Monsun radio talk show
My heart goes out to every family member impacted by this and previous accidents on this dangerous stretch that’s critical to our state’s highway system. When the Seaport Alliance quietly shifted cargo traffic from the Port of Seattle to the Port of Tacoma in late 2017, there was an uptick in serious traffic accidents like this one. For the employees working in Snoqualmie Valley who travel it, it is 25 times more deadly than their workplace. We need that to change.
