Snoqualmie Valley Women in Leadership’s Fall Connection Gathering Focuses on Cultivating a Strategic Mindset

Snoqualmie Valley Women in Leadership (SVWL) announces its Fall Connection Gathering on Wednesday, November 20, from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Meadowbrook Farm, 1711 Boalch Avenue Northwest, North Bend, WA 98045.

SVWL’s Connection Gatherings are designed to help local women in business and leadership roles build community and grow in their leadership journey.

The Fall Connection Gathering will feature keynote speaker Wendy Parslow, a strategic business and people operations leader and SVWL founder. She will share practical tools for cultivating a strategic mindset and leading with impact, especially during uncertainty and change.

“As leaders, we often get overwhelmed with day-to-day details and struggle to find the mental space needed for strategic thinking,” says Parslow. “I’m excited to delve into what thoughtful leadership looks like and share tools that can be used by anyone at any point in their career. This includes how to identify common pitfalls and recognize when zooming out or diving in will be more impactful for your organization, your teams, and your overall success.”

Since its inception in January of 2023, Snoqualmie Valley Women in Leadership has inspired more than 200 women leaders in the Valley to connect, learn, and be supported by each other.

The group is known for providing meaningful opportunities for professionals to connect without the awkwardness of traditional networking events. It offers a bi-monthly newsletter and other events nearly every month of the year.

“SVWL events attract women leaders from diverse industries and backgrounds.” describes SVWL Leadership Committee member Kaye Straight. “We offer structured networking welcomed by introverts and extroverts alike. Whether you’re a small business owner, an emerging leader or a seasoned pro, you’ll leave uplifted and equipped for your professional journey.”

SVWL welcomes anyone to its Fall Connection Gathering. This event is free to register for and attend; however, you can register and contribute to help cover the cost. Register here.
