Snoqualmie Ridge Community Garage Sale Final Day
The Snoqualmie Ridge Community-Wide Garage Sale continues today, Sunday, May 20th, from 9AM-4PM. The annual garage sale is normally only Friday and Saturday. The Snoqualmie Ridge ROA has extended this year’s event. After your yard sale is over, you can donate leftover summer clothes to Snoqualmie Valley families! One VOICE (Valley Organizations in Collective Effort) is collecting gently used summer clothing and shoes for local families in need for its second annual Summer Resource Fair on Saturday, June 2, 2012. Donations can be dropped off at the Encompass Main Campus, 1407 Boalch Ave. NW, during business hours until Wednesday, May 30, 2012.
Snoqualmie YMCA
Just as Snoqualmie YMCA Director, Dave Mayer, indicated, the Y’s lawn was mowed for the first time yesterday. The site was finally dry enough to mow the grass without damaging the soil and bare spots created by poor drainage over the wet winter and spring months. For all you fond of the grass’s blue flowers. Don’t fret. They will re-grow as the grass lengthens again.
