Snoqualmie Valley Foodbank Partners with Local Police to Gather Essential Food for Children

North Bend-Snoqualmie Police and the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank are teaming up to help feed local children with food insecurity.

The program, called Lunches for Littles, will collect food through donation bins you can find located at:

  • The Snoqualmie Police Department lobby: 34825 SE Douglas St 
  • The North Bend Safeway: 460 SW Mt. Si Blvd
  • The Snoqualmie Ridge Safeway: 34828 SE Douglas St 
  • The North Bend QFC: 460 E North Bend Way
  • The Snoqualmie Ridge YMCA: 35018 SE Ridge St

Specific items in need are:

  • Peanut butter
  • Jams
  • Pancake mix
  • Granola bars, trail mix, and other individually packaged snacks
  • Applesauce and other fruit cups
  • Breakfast cereal

Financial donations are also welcome and can be made online through the Meals for the Break program. Visit www.snoqualmievalleyfoodbank.org/donate-1 and in the memo line, put “Lunches for the Littles.”
