Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank Harnesses Seahawks 12th Man Power for ’12th Man Can Club’ Food Drive

Hoping to harness the power and spirit of the local Snoqualmie Valley Seahawks 12th man, the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank is hosting a fun, ONE DAY food drive called the ‘12 Man Can Club’ on Sunday, October 12th from 12PM – 1:30PM – right before the Seahawks home game against the Dallas Cowboys.

The community is encouraged to put on those Seahawks jerseys and bring cases of food to the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank, located at 122 East 3rd Street in downtown North Bend.

’12 Man Can Club’ food drive organizers hope to make a large number 12 out of all the cases of donated food and post it on their Facebook page  – and show the community that the 12th man can get behind more than one kind of community success.

The Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank opened its doors in February 2014 and was founded by former directors of the Mt. Si Food Bank.  It is an inclusive, community-based food bank solely focused on helping neighbors thrive.

Founders pride themselves on being an organization run by neighbors for their neighbors because “the health of our community is dependent upon the wellbeing of those that live in it.”
