Snoqualmie Valley Chamber of Commerce President Carolyn Simpson announced this week that Snoqualmie resident Kelly Coughlin had been hired as the Chamber’s new Executive Director. She replaces Monica Lynne who recently stepped down to pursue her master’s degree in counseling and to continue to build her health business.
Simpson commented, “Monica has been a wonderful asset and advocate to our community. We are sad to see her go.”
Kelly began her new role on Monday, July 23rd. She has significant Chamber and Economic Development activity, primarily in Arkansas.
Simpson said, “We had very highly qualified candidates for this position and we consider all of the other candidates we interviewed to be true gems in the community. We are so excited to have a full-time executive director for this important job, and we look forward to working with Kelly at the helm for many years.”
“I’m bringing an absolute love for the Snoqualmie Valley to this position. I am so excited to make a positive contribution to the valley and work with the entire business community. There is so much rich history to share and it is so easy for people to fall in love with this valley. I look forward to the opportunity to advocate, connect and educate the business community. My goal is to bring continuity, fluidity and prosperity to the businesses so that all of us benefit from this amazing place to live, work and play.”
