North Bend, WA –Starting September 8, 2020, Bendigo Properties LLC will begin construction of a new 12-acre athletic facility complex.
The site of the new Snoqualmie Valley Athletic Complex is situated between NW 14th Street and Meadowbrook Farm along Boalch Avenue NW – near SR 202.
The project will be constructed in two phases. Phase I, which begins next week, will consist of four combination outdoor, turfed multi-use sports fields and parking areas. Phase II will consist of the athletic facility complex building.
Phase I of the project is anticipated to be completed by May 2021. Phase II is anticipated to start construction in a few years.
Work hours will be between 7:00am – 7:00pm Monday through Friday, with possible work on Saturdays between 9:00am – 5:00pm.
When contacted for comment, developer Wende Miller noted that the contractor has big gaps of cushion time and they are hoping to deliver around February of 2021.
After year and a half of trying to figure out a solution to meet sewer requirements Miller said, “We are very excited to finally be delivering this great amenity to our community and the region. We have had tremendous support from many organizations, which goes to show the immense need for this facility.”

Taking up more of the land that supports the elk Gerard and other wildlife. Way to go North Bend!
Awful!! We don’t need that and that is right where the elk walk and bed down! Shame on the people running this town!!
Actually not a hot bed for the elk, but they do occasionally traverse there, their area is in a preserve that hopefully will never be further developed .
