Since the start of 2022, water utility rates have increased 3.07% annually based on an average residential monthly bill.
The graduated increase for water, sewer and stormwater for 2021-2026 was approved by the City Council in December 2020. Within the plan, the Council voted for a 0% increase in 2021 due to COVID-19.
Annual rate increases keep water, sewer, and stormwater utilities operating reliably for customers. In addition, the City needs to consistently invest in the repair, replacement, preservation, and improvement of utility system infrastructure.

That will compliment our insane increase in property taxes nicely this year. It will be important to follow what the city will do with the increase in revenue if not for water infrastructure.
Yeah, their pricing regular folks to move east. Between rediculous property taxes and now this increase, it’s rediculous.Sad really.
More than double since my first bill 15 years ago. Since then, there have been thousands of new residents adding to their revenue. Do we have access to their balance sheets?
