On Nov. 7, 2023, at 7:47 pm, Snoqualmie-North Bend Police Dept. officers responded to SE Cedar Falls Way at SE Symmons PL in North Bend for an accident involving a vehicle that had struck a pedestrian.
When officers arrived, Medic 1 was already on the scene treating the male patient. The seriously injured North Bend man was promptly transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
Unfortunately, the patient succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Police officers notified the next of kin.
Based on the facts known, this appears to be a tragic accident. The Snoqualmie Police Dept. reminds everyone to exercise additional caution when driving or walking during the extended hours of darkness this time of year.
