According to the Washington Department of Transportation, good progress continues to be made on Snoqualmie, Stevens, White & Blewett passes.
Even though there is still a lot of work to go, they estimate Snoqualmie & Blewett will reopen sometime Sunday. It will take longer to get Stevens & White reopened.
Using plows, blowers & graders, crews continue to clear snow and make sure hillsides are stable from earlier avalanche concerns.
Crews are also clearing catch basins to allow for drainage from melting snow & rain.
One of WSDOT’s tow plows, Plowie McPlow Plow, was moved from Spokane to Snoqualmie Pass to assist with the work. They are on track to reopen on Sunday. A final update will be given late Sunday morning.
