On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 2 p.m., the City of Snoqualmie will host a ribbon cutting at the corner of SE Kimball Creek Drive and 384th Avenue SE to celebrate recently completed improvements to a key stretch of roadway in downtown.
The 384th Sidewalk and Sewer Project brought new infrastructure to the area, including a sidewalk spanning one mile to enhance walkability and pedestrian safety. In addition to the sidewalk, the project upgraded an aging 40-year-old sewer line, replacing it with a larger-capacity line designed to support future connections for homes currently on septic systems.
Mayor Katherine Ross praised the long-term value of the upgrades. “This is a small but significant project that will make a lasting impact for years to come,” she said. “These improvements make it safer for residents walking to downtown and also improve our downtown utility infrastructure.”
City leaders, staff, and residents will gather to recognize the project’s completion and the benefits it brings to the Snoqualmie community.
