Snoqualmie Firefighters Serve Up Community Support at Annual Pancake Breakfast

The Snoqualmie Firefighters Association will transform its fire station into a community restaurant on Saturday, August 23, serving breakfast and raising funds for local causes during the annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser.

From 7 to 11 a.m. at Snoqualmie Fire Station (37600 SE Snoqualmie Parkway), firefighters will cook and serve pancakes, ham, Krispy Kreme donuts, Starbucks coffee, orange juice and other beverages as part of Snoqualmie Days festivities.

Breakfast costs $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 6-12, and is free for kids 5 and under. The event continues the firefighters’ environmental commitment by partnering with Waste Management for zero-waste operations using only recyclable and compostable items.

This year’s fundraising proceeds will support the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank’s vital services and capital campaign for a new facility location. The nonprofit Snoqualmie Firefighters Association uses annual fundraising to support fire department equipment purchases, community events, public safety education, emergency assistance, high school scholarships in health and fire sciences, historic preservation of the original Engine 1, and local charitable organizations.

The event features a $2 raffle for items under $100 from local businesses and a silent auction for larger prizes. Special auction items include a golf foursome at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge, deluxe overnight stays for two with breakfast at Salish Lodge, wine tasting for eight at Sigillo Cellars, and gift certificates from local restaurants and breweries.

T-shirts, bike helmets, and SFFA Challenge Coins will be available for purchase. Families can meet Snoqualmie Fire Department firefighters and EMTs while enjoying photo opportunities with emergency vehicles.
