Snoqualmie Fire Department Offers First Aid/CPR/AED Class

The Snoqualmie Fire Department is hosting a First Aid, CPR & AED Class on Saturday, September 24, from 9 am to 2 pm (half-hour lunch).

This Heartsaver class combines basic first aid, CPR for adults and children, and the use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED).

The class is an instructor-led, video-based course that teaches participants critical skills to respond to and manage a first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrive.

Students will also learn how to initially address shock, bleeding, sprains, broken bones, and other incidents requiring first aid.

Students will receive a completion card valid for two years after finishing the class. The class fee is $35 (check or cash). Ages 16 and up are eligible for the course.

To register for the class, email eoc@snoqualmiewa.gov or call 425-888-1551.
