On April 8, 2024, the City of Snoqualmie confirmed the appointment of two new directors. Fletcher Lacroix has taken over as the Director of Information Technology, while Jeff Hamlin has stepped into the Parks and Public Works Director role. Both were officially confirmed by the Snoqualmie City Council and sworn into office by Mayor Katherine Ross.
Lacroix comes to his new role with a strong background. He previously served as the Assistant Director of Technology at the Snoqualmie Valley School District and brings over two decades of experience managing IT projects, resources, infrastructure, and teams.
Jeff Hamlin has been a part of the Snoqualmie city staff since 2017, initially as City Engineer. With over 30 years of experience in engineering, he was appointed Assistant Director of Parks and Public Works in 2022 and has acted as the Interim Director for the past nine months.
Mayor Katherine Ross praised the new directors, stating, “Both Director Lacroix and Director Hamlin are highly qualified in their professions and bring excellent leadership skills to their departments. They are a great fit for our organization and will serve Snoqualmie residents well.”
The confirmations of Directors Lacroix and Hamlin mark a significant step in filling key leadership roles within the City of Snoqualmie’s administration. Their extensive backgrounds in technology and public works, respectively, will guide their departments as they continue to serve the community’s needs.
