City of Snoqualmie Hiring New Police Officer

imagesThe City of Snoqualmie announced on Friday that it has an open lateral entry police officer position.  The job has been posted to the City of Snoqualmie website.

According to the city’s website the police officer position is “under the direct supervision of Police Sergeant and general supervision of the Police Captain. The Police Chief is the head of the Police Department. The incumbent patrols an assigned beat and investigates incidents in the enforcement of law and order in the protection of life and property. Work varies requiring individual judgment within prescribed standards and procedures; adjusts work methods to meet task requirements.”

Residents Invited to Informal Meeting with Heads of Police, Fire, Parks, Public Works Departments

City of Snoqualmie Police Chief Steve McCulley, Fire Chief Bob Rowe, and Public Works and (Interim) Parks Director Dan Marcinko welcome residents to meet with them.

It’s a chance to discuss whatever is on your mind regarding Public Safety, Parks & Recreation, or Public Works such as city projects around town and other projects scheduled for 2013.

The meeting will be on Thursday, January 24th, 3-4PM at the Snoqualmie Community Center/YMCA, 35016 SE Ridge Street.
