The City Council is looking forward to hearing from residents about the proposed Jupiter Power battery energy storage facility. Council members are aware of and share the community’s concerns and want to hear from residents.
To ensure time for all those who would like to make a public comment, the council has largely cleared its agenda. The council’s rules allow each speaker up to three minutes.
During public comment, the council listens to speakers but does not respond or answer questions during the meeting. Comments received are then considered during subsequent deliberations of topics raised.
Council Chambers capacity is limited by the building occupancy code, so arrive on time. If capacity is reached, the City Hall lobby will be used as overflow, and attendees will be asked to rotate so everyone has the opportunity to participate.
