Snoqualmie Casino announces Hometown Heroes program, recognizing those who make lasting impact

Snoqualmie Casino has initiated a call for nominations to recognize community members that provide outstanding service to the greater Seattle region.

Honorees will be treated to a complimentary fine dining experience at the casino’s signature restaurant, Vista Prime Steaks and Seafood and VIP tickets to a show at Snoqualmie Casino (featuring national entertainment), along with special recognition for the Hometown Hero before the show.

“As a business, our values reflect those of our owners, the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe,” said Brian Decorah, president and CEO of Snoqualmie Casino. “And, as Seattle’s closest casino, we want to recognize and honor the Hometown Heroes that make the greater Seattle region a great place to live.”

Nominations will be evaluated and chosen using the following criteria:  outstanding service in military or law enforcement, teachers whose impact extends beyond the classroom, extensive commitment to charitable causes, lifetime contribution to improving the quality of life in their community and other acts that demonstrate an unwavering commitment to making our region a better place to live.

“At Snoqualmie Casino, we live local and we give local,” said Michelle Valdez, Public Relations and Social Media Supervisor. “In addition to our charitable giving to nonprofit organizations, we also want to recognize individuals that have made a lasting impact in our local communities.”

Nominations will be reviewed on a quarterly basis, with multiple honorees selected in April, July, October and January.
