Snoqualmie Casino and Snoqualmie Valley Kiwanis Join Forces for Annual Giving Tree Community Event

For the fourth year, Snoqualmie Casino partnered with the Snoqualmie Valley Kiwanis for the annual Giving Tree community event to create a festive and charitable experience for Snoqualmie Valley residents in need.

The Giving Tree partnership between Snoqualmie Casino and the Snoqualmie Valley Kiwanis began in 2020 during the latter stages of the COVID pandemic. The 11,000 sq. ft. Snoqualmie Casino ballroom provided space for social distancing, and the casino’s well-established safety protocols ensured that community members in need could still provide toys and essentials for their families during the holiday season.

In the weeks before the main event, Snoqualmie Valley Kiwanis supplied Christmas trees adorned with tags representing various gift items in community-wide locations, such as Snoqualmie Casino. Community members and team members of Snoqualmie Casino would select a tag from the Christmas trees, fulfill the wish, and return the unwrapped gift to the designated tree.

From the Snoqualmie Casino ballroom, filled with toys, games, books, and essentials like jackets and socks, the Snoqualmie Valley Kiwanis then distributes the gifts to local families, ensuring that everyone in the community can experience the warmth and generosity of the holiday season.

“Thank you to all the passionate volunteers who work tirelessly to support the Kiwanis ‘Giving Tree’ event that we host here at Snoqualmie Casino. Together with the generous donations from the wider Snoqualmie Valley community, they help to bring Christmas joy to those who might not have had the chance.” Said Stanford Le, CEO and President of Snoqualmie Casino

In addition to gifts, community members also donated hundreds of coats, giving those in need a warm jacket this winter. Over 560 Snoqualmie Valley children and families received donated goods and benefitted from this initiative.
