Small Hands to Big Plans Fundraising Event to Benefit Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation

Small Hands to Big Plans, the annual fundraising event benefiting the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation, will take place on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, at the Mount Si High School Performing Arts Center.

 

The event will feature an inspiring program showcasing the foundation’s support for students and teachers in the Snoqualmie Valley School District.

The event schedule is as follows:

  • Mount Si Campus Tours available to registered guests at 9:30 am
  • Doors Open: 10:00 am
  • Program Starts: 10:30 am
  • Networking and Light Lunch to follow

Attendees will celebrate 35 years of Foundation support in the Snoqualmie Valley School District, totaling more than $2 million in funds raised to support local schools. Additionally, guests will hear from SVSD teachers and students who have directly benefited from the foundation’s programs.

The event will conclude with a networking session and a light lunch the Mount Si Culinary Arts students prepared.

Small Hands to Big Plans is the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation’s primary fundraiser. It aims to raise $115,000 to support critical programs such as classroom grants, district initiatives, professional development, and other educational programs within the district.

“We are excited to host the Small Hands to Big Plans event once again this year and invite the community to join us in supporting education excellence in the Snoqualmie Valley School District,” said Lorraine Thurston, Board President at the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation.

Registration for the event is free and open to anyone interested in supporting the work of the Foundation. Registration can be done online at https://ourschool.support/SVSF2024. The event will be held at the Mount Si High School Performing Arts Center located at 8651 Meadowbrook Way SE, Snoqualmie, WA 98065. Parking will be available in the MSHS parking lots, and carpooling is encouraged.
