Silver Alert Issued for Missing Carnation Man

The Washington State Patrol has issued a Silver Alert for Donald Hailstone (who answers to the name ‘Hooker’), a 75-year-old man reported missing in Carnation, with the alert activated on behalf of the King County Sheriff’s Office.

Hailstone was last seen around 8 p.m. on February 12, 2026, in the area of Northeast 80th Street and Tolt River Road Northeast. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 9-1-1. The case number is C26004244, and the King County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line is 206-296-3311.

  • His nickname is Hooker (he is one of the best fisherman I have ever met and a longtime family friend). I’ve never heard him go by anything else to his friends. A Facebook post with the the Silver Alert had a comment that mentioned his family says he will not respond if called Donald.
