UPDATED: Short Work Week Starts with Search for Potentially Armed Suspects in North Bend

UPDATE 3:30 PM: According to the WSP, the male and female arrested this morning are believed to be associated with a rollover car accident over the weekend resulting in two loose dogs, one of which is now deceased.

A third person, a male, also was involved somehow but was not found. The State Patrol does not believe the third person is in the North Bend Area.

There were stolen items that the State Patrol found out about through the accident investigation yesterday but not until the individual(s) were released from the hospital resulting in the arrest this morning.

At approximately 10 am Tuesday, September 7th, Local residents started noticing a large police presence in the area of the median woods near exit 34 in North Bend.

Officers from the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO), the Guardian One helicopter and the Snoqualmie Police Department were searching for a potentially armed person believed to be involved in a robbery in another county.

A male and female were taken into custody as of 1130 am, with a third outstanding. However, the median woods were cleared and a police K-9 continues to search for guns potentially hidden in the area.

  • Hi there was a guy that waved me down right outside of my house “looking for his puppy” who ran away in the the accident. If the two others are in jail this may be the other.
